The food was good--I had the El Volcan and was pleasantly surprised by its spice level (as a spice lover, I even added more habanero sauce to it). The flavor was great overall. However, the chips they served were slightly burnt, or at least the seasoning on them was, which wasn't the best tasting. The ambience was lively and bustling, making for a fun atmosphere. The service was generally good--our waitress did disappear at times, but we were never left waiting too long, so it didn't take away from the experience too much. Overall, it's a nice spot to grab a bite, especially if you enjoy a little kick in your food!

Food was actually amazing, loved the burritos! Tried chicken and carnitas. Hostess was a little rude or maybe just overwhelmed asking if we had a reservation, which we didn't, then told us to go to the bar and didn't want to put us on the waitlist. We ended up making a reservation online on our phone for that exact time and got a table immediately. So I guess make a reservation when you want to eat here even if it's not busy?? Servers were great, tableside guac amazing. Will be back!

Update: Came here for taco Tuesday and they got some great deals. Started south the guac. We got carne asada tacos and I got the firecracker quesadilla and the animal taco. Both delicious. Old review : Was on my list for a while. Started with a blackberry & ginger virgin drink. It was good. Also got the sweet corn. It was good but don't think I will pay $10 for it. The complimentary chips and salsa was good. I got the carne asada tacos with rice and beans. So many tacos for me. 3 come. The steak was juicy. The beans I could live without. The rice was good. My sister got the quesdilla. It was huge! Definitely 2 people can share it. It was really good too

Came for Taco Tuesday as a girls night. Early reservations for the patio at five so the vibe was nice as it was not too cold outside. The venue has outdoor heaters if needed. The venue is super clean with a modern flare. Unfortunately we waited at least 10 mins after tracking down a manager for drinks. The manger made things right and took our order. Very friendly to fix things. Are waitress was nice but have to say experience with wait staff was a little off as service was slow. The food came out perfect and taste very good. I will try this venue again as maybe it was a bad night for the venue on service. Though when we were served both the wait staff and managers were very nice.

First time here. We happened to go around 6:30 in the evening and sat outside. It was uncomfortably dark and I felt they should have more outside lighting if they are going to offer outside seating. We shared the naked guacamole and the ceviche. Both were delicious. They are served with full tostado chips that you can break apart. Chips were especially great with the ceviche. The service was good. Our waiter seemed very busy so not super attentive. Seemed to be a really popular restaurant so might try it again - during the daylight! LOL.

A solid spot for decent Mexican food in the area with great atmosphere! On our most recent visit, we ordered grilled sweet corn and the guacamole sol to share. The sweet corn was phenomenal, one of the better ones I've had in a while. The guacamole was nice and light but just a tad too sour for our liking. For our main entrees, we ordered the grilled fish zarandeado queso torta, bufalada taco, and a shrimp dorado taco. The fish queso torta was quite tasty, not fishy at all. The bufalada taco was decent, nothing amazing but not bad. The shrimp dorado taco is a classic that you can hardly go wrong with. The shrimp wasn't overcooked or rubbery. Refreshingly delicious. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. Our server was very helpful in answering all our questions to help us decide on what to order. The ambiance was classy and inviting with darker neutral tones and décor. This restaurant is a bit more upscale than your average Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend making reservations if you're thinking about coming around dinner time since it is in a prime area.
